Current Series Can we know anything with certainty? Of course we can. There are those things that are true by defintion, "tautologies" like "water is wet" or "fire burns." But can we know anything personally and utilmately meaningful with certainty? According to the Skeptic, the answer is, "NO," but it should be noted that not even the Skeptic lives as if this were true. To live without certainty is to live without hope.Vaclav Havel said, "Hope is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out."

Pastor Walt is leading us through a study of 1 John. In this short letter, the Apostle John, nearing the end of his life, reflects on those things that we can and MUST know "for sure". Join us this Sunday as we hear about certainty in this uncertain world.
